Reese Dailey Band
About The Reese Dailey Band
Reese Dailey is the total package. He is a dynamic guitarist with a seemingly endless flow of lyrical sounding lead lines. Reese is able to produce a sound that keeps listeners attention because he is always offering something new and exciting. In addition to his powerful lead guitar style, he showcases his talent on the slide guitar, a talent unique to this area. Reese’s early influences include a vast array of southern rock and southern blues bands. Their influence on his playing certainly shows up on stage. His other major musical influence was his father, the legendary Pat Dailey. Reese inherited his father’s stage persona as well as his strong vocal fortitude. Like his father, Reese has a rich, full voice that is both beautiful and commanding. He is an excellent songwriter as well and the band is already doing several of his original songs with more to be added in coming months.
Bassist, Mark Bibler, has a style that is unique unto himself. His own strain of rolling low tones then bright, slapping high tones sets him apart from other players, providing a unique blend of sounds that drives the foundation of the band. Like many others in his era, Mark first became interested in music after seeing the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show. His early influences included the likes of Jeff Beck, The Allman Brothers, Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton.
Drummer, Rob Morrin, brings with him over 20 years of playing experience in the Toledo area. As a founding member of local college favorite, The Flecks, he had the opportunity to not only play in just about every club and venue in the Toledo area, but also to open for many national acts such as Peter Frampton, Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels, The Little River Band, the Lemonheads, 13 engines, and others. Rob’s playing is influenced primarily by the music of the 80’s and 90’s and specifically drumming legends Stewart Copeland, Bill Berry, Victor DeLorenzo, Nicko McBrain, and Neil Peart.
